Crocodile Dundee
Tale goes that back in the Portuguese era, Crocodiles were placed in the Cumburja River that divided the Hindu & Christian residential zones to avoid crossing and maintain communal harmony, for which Goa can proudly boast of being the least communal state in the country..
Many of these crocodiles still live today in harmony with the environment in the same natural canals joining the Zuari & Mandovi Rivers.
Spend your day experiencing Goa’s beautiful backwaters, where besides spotting Crocodiles you can spot a variety of bird species living together in harmony. We sail past rustic Goa, untouched by tourism, where you can watch Cockle fishermen at work sourcing their daily meal and we go onwards to a traditional Goa’n farm on the backwaters, complete with its fruit, & vegetable plantation, where there’s a hot lunch ready for you. After lunch we depart back for the mainland by boat for another chance to experience these beautiful backwaters.

Spices:
Ever since the days of early trading, Goa was a big spot for purchase and export of spices..
Till date most of these organic spice plantations which have been kept a secret until recently, still exist and are now a huge tourist attraction. The visit is accompanied with a hot Hindu lunch, served on banana leaves & cooked traditionally with home-grown ingredients from the farm.
An experience not to be missed! If you wish to include Old Goa / Mangueshi Temple and the spice plantation as well, we arrange your transport & lunch at Savoi Plantation, a 100 Year old, organic plantation and one of the foremost in Goa.
