Little Tibet and the Jungle

Itinerary
Depart your hotel @ 0730 Hrs for a 130 Km drive South of Goa to Dandeli wild life sanctuary, in Karnataka.
We arrive at the resort where you will be allotted your river view rooms after which we meet up for lunch & a briefing at the riverside restaurant. After lunch, the more adventurous can rush their adrenalin on the 5 Km White Water Rafting trip, or the more laid back river ride in traditional coracles. You can take an easy nature walk or rest on the the river front with a beer & fishing line in hand.
Around 7.30 we meet around the fireplace for a bar-b-que dinner and nature talk in the wilderness, before calling it a day, snoozing off in the sounds of the forest..
After an early breakfast we depart at 0830 Hrs on an 80 Km forest drive for Mungod, home of the Tibetan Community Center. Nestled in the hills of Karnataka and spread over 20 Sq Miles, housing over 10,000 Tibetans on land gifted by the Govt. of India, visited annually by the Dalai Lama himself.
Your trip includes guided visits to the Handicraft center where you can find some original Tibetan handicrafts, the University, a local restaurant for lunch and some beautifully decorated Monasteries. After a local Tibetan lunch we depart @ 1500 Hrs for your return journey back to your hotel in Goa.
